Very emotional portrait of a musician captured by her music. Tenderness and loving emotion at that. Brilliant transformation of the raw image into a captivating photograph. The hard transitions from removing the background on the top right and face/violin on the left could be blurred to create a more natural look. Well done indeed.   Posted: 10/06/2026 13:41:10
Chris, thank you for your suggestions. I think blurring areas would definitely add to the dream like feel of the image.   Posted: 10/07/2026 20:42:53
Beautiful portrait and a good story. You captured the moment. Her feelings and connection to the music is apparent. All the fine details on her face and hair are sharp. Good tonal variations. Nicely composed. I agree with Chris's suggestion. Your title is perfect. Great job, Terry.   Posted: 10/08/2026 14:20:28

I prefer the monochrome image you have presented. The slightly "soft" focus helps to convey the mood of a young girl lost in her music. Great capture of a fleeting moment.   Posted: 10/21/2026 01:15:50
The tones of this, especially the skin, are beautiful . And, my goodness, this picture has done the rounds of processing software packages! Cropping it, as you have, helps to increase the emotional impact of the photograph of a young woman deeply immersed in the activity. I like the contrasting angle of the face, the violin and the bow - all of which help to lift the composition.   Posted: 10/27/2026 15:22:59
Thank you... I definitely struggled with the composition (especially since the background was an outdoor stage in daylight). I also think that in this case, to crop make a huge difference.   Posted: 10/28/2026 23:30:46
