I like the colours too, they are quite pastel-like. No antennae? Or very short ones? An odd fly.

Maybe just a bit more room at the top, and less at the bottom?   Posted: 10/07/2026 06:44:17

The colors are very nice and it is sharp. Did you apply some special effect in post-editing?   Posted: 10/17/2026 19:48:10

Mike, I have the same question as Gloria...since we don't have info on the post-processing, it's hard to know what happened, but there is something surreal about the image. I think it would be a great image before whatever step caused that, and my only suggestion would be to allow a bit more room for your weird bug, particularly in front of his "face." The sharpness, lighting and background all feel very good in this, along with a super level of detail.   Posted: 10/18/2026 17:12:06

Chatgpt says this is a leafhopper because of the body shape, spotted wings and color.

Very nice capture of the subject but my first reaction was that it was overprocessed to give it an artificial look. It would be interesting to see the original image.   Posted: 10/19/2026 01:36:19
