About the Image(s)
I shotted this image in the lobby of the Marriott Hotel in Atlanta. I was attracted to the repeating, sweeping curves of the balconies. The repetition gives it an abstract pattern.

That is a a great picture. On the edge of abstract. the textures are interesting the angle of view is unique. Wonderful.   Posted: 10/07/2026 10:52:00
Kathleen - One of my main subject interests is architecture. This photo is really, really great! The order of the forms and the leading lines to the top are dramatic and must be amazing to witness in person. Your photo is excellent in composition and execution. Nice job!   Posted: 10/07/2026 19:25:34

Welcome to the group, Katheen!
I agree this is a lovely abstraction. For me, at first sight, it resembled piano keys!
My only comment is that the building seems to be leaning forward a bit (perhaps ~-5 vertical distortion?). But, I am not sure about that. It may just be my eye.

Thank you, Elsie. I will see what happens if I try to straighten it in Lightroom.

I love this kind of photo and yes, I also thought of piano keys. Great shot.   Posted: 10/16/2026 19:00:45
I truly love this photo! The perspective and angle are just perfect. I'm a big fan of photos with clean, precise lines, and this one captures that beautifully. Everything feels so balanced and visually satisfying!   Posted: 10/27/2026 13:21:43
