About the Image(s)
I am a little uncomfortable submitting the same exact subject two months in a row, but here it is anyway. This is the same Delaware boat outing as last month’s image of the same lighthouse, only on the way back to the dock instead of the way out. Although it appears the conditions on the way back were drastically different than on the way out, it is not really the case. It was the way the sun was at the time. Processed in Topaz and Lightroom, removing a few small distracting objects. Nikon Z5-2, ISO 450, f6, 1/1250 sec at 66mm.

I think this version works better than last month's. because last month I felt you were fighting against the conditions, but here you have presented it as it was. It is a bit more safe, in that the lighting is straight forward and we have a clear blue sky, but the lighthouse is lit a little from one side, which gives some shaping to the round building. This is a good solid shot of the lighthouse Jay, Don't concern yourself, or worry about putting up the same subject in consecutive months, they're all stand alone images. The lighting and conditions here are good, which results in a strong image. And well processed and presented. Posted: 10/22/2026 10:28:20
