Hi Geoff,
Nice color palette. Minimalistic but effective. I like the position of the tree. Nice sense of depth by the details in the field, tree, and sky. Soft shadows due to the nimbus clouds.
No suggestion for improvement.
A keeper. Posted: 10/16/2026 17:34:36

Geoff, I love it as is!
I might play with Adobe's haze suppression filter, got only very slightly. But it's probably better with the smidgen of haze.

This is a standout minimalist photo Geoff! The colors play well off each other and the position of the tree is spot on. As a suggestion, you could consider darkening the sky to a deeper blue. I quite like how peaceful it is. Posted: 10/22/2026 19:00:15

Hi Geoff- this image really touches me! I love the simplicity of it: the simple strong tree against the yellow canola field with a blue sky above. this is one I could hang on my wall and enjoy for a long time. It's perfect in my book. Posted: 10/23/2026 02:39:04

Beautiful simplicity, Geoff! I love the striking contrast between the golden yellow field and the blue sky, with the lone tree providing a lovely focal point. If I were there, I might try shooting from a lower angle to place more of the tree against the sky, giving it a stronger silhouette and greater visual impact. Just another compositional possibility! A lovely minimalist landscape, Geoff! Posted: 10/25/2026 07:33:54
