October 2026 - Fall Splendor

Fall has arrived at Mt Rainier National Park. Slight adjustment in the phone photo app. For some reason when I resized the photo it darkened the photo. So after resizing I had to go back and adjust the exposure. Taken on 21 September with my iPhone 17Pro.

Pam, another great landscape image from you. Nice colors and scenery. The dip in the tree line frames the mountain peaks. The wispy clouds in the dry sky suggest the season, too. It's another calendar page. Good stuff.

Wow. this is a great shot. The 4 (5?) zones of color are lovely, each in it's own way, and make a wonderful composition. There are many uses for this image that one can imagine, including large print, jigsaw puzzle, post cards, and screen saver. Posted: 10/02/2026 18:46:04
It's great that you could maintain such detail in the snow and the bottom half of the image.There's an odd wire along the bottom of the image. It could be cloned out if you opted to. Posted: 10/14/2026 17:15:08
Magnificent fall wilderness capture. Especially like red and green foliage against snowy backdrop. Well thought out composition captures it all. Is the snow left over from last winter or reflects early snowfall? Posted: 10/16/2026 23:26:12
