Charles, this is a good choice for a BW conversion - I find the variety of colours in the original (the leash and collar, the skin tones of the runners legs) detract from the main subjects. I, too, like your crop; and the shadows stand out, adding to the composition. To me, the dog's coat shows enough texture but I agree it would be nice to see a little more detail on the dog's hind shoes. A fun image - I like the title.   Posted: 10/13/2026 02:11:43
