October 2026 - GIRAFE IN THE SUNSET
About the Image(s)
This is one of my favorite images that I took while riding safari in Kenya some 20 years ago. The trip in itself was an unbelievable memory of a lifetime and I only wish I could do it again. We had hoped to get to South Africa at a later date but age and health issues won out so I continue teo relish this one

I love it too. Looks so regal. Posted: 10/03/2026 18:43:07
Bev, wonderful image. The position of the Giraffe and the direction the animal is facing tells a story. That background is really great! Posted: 10/03/2026 20:34:19

Very stunning image Bev. I don't know if you added the background but it is amazingly well done. Posted: 10/04/2026 22:37:31
Amazing image Bev. It looks perfect for a Metal Plate Print. Love it. Posted: 10/10/2026 14:14:43
Thanks to all of you. This was truly a last minute miracle as we were supposed do a balloon ride that afternoon but weather interfered and our guide was able to switch our return Nairobi and give us the extra day safari so we went out around sundown. I loved the original but decided to play with other backgrounds. So pleased that you love it as much as I do. Posted: 10/12/2026 01:46:31
The backgound and the sky add visual appeal. This image is a very strong memory. I like it! Well done!
