What a beautiful day for a walk in this small park in Jupiter, FL. Sometimes there is a nest full of owls and the pond is full of birds but not today. Just a few great clouds that kept me looking up. I took it with my iPhone 15 Pro, ISO 50 and F 2.2.

I like this landscape with the lovely light and color and how the road leads the viewer to an unknown destination. I cropped, flipped it horizontally, and darkened it to make it a bit more challenging than welcoming. Posted: 10/05/2026 02:31:02

This small park sounds delightful, Marge, with all the birds there. By chance do you have eagles nesting in your area? Several years ago some make Kiawah their home. So, when out walking and an eagle flies close by, I have to stop and take in the sight! Posted: 10/24/2026 14:46:02
Thank you Sylvia. No, no eagles in that park. A pair of owls have secured the area for a long time until two years ago when a storm took down their nest. I'm still waiting for the owls to return somewhere close so that I might be able to find them. I know of three eagles nests in Florida and visit one several times a year to photograph them.
