Hi Ed: An interesting composition of a canal in Venice. My eye keeps going toward the back of your image to where the people are skipping 2/3 of the canal & water. I'd suggest cropping your image which would still give enough of the water to meet your objective of the water pattern.   Posted: 10/12/2026 17:29:10

Ed, an interesting shot made in a familiar area of Venice.
The image really says Venice but in an unfamiliar way.   Posted: 10/15/2026 05:52:08

Hi Ed
A very clever idea which for me works well and is creative, the lead in is wonderful and as the canal bends towards the top left this ensures the eye travels along the picture and has somewhere to stop on the building at the end the man in that area also adds interest and scale to the scene great idea well handled and presented.   Posted: 10/15/2026 11:16:05

Congratulations on a great image Ed. Very well constructed and balanced. Great processing with a solid tonal range. Your choice of shutter speed has had great effect on the water surface.   Posted: 10/24/2026 06:58:23
