About the Image(s)

Shot 10/17/24 at 11:09 AM at OSP 250, 2.22mm, 1/50 sec, f/2.2 with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. The massive inside of the dome of the Eastern Orthodox Cathedral in Belgrade Serbia. This cathedral is 20th century, not old like most of Europes cathedrals.

OMGosh! What impact! And it's an iphone photo to boot!
I think it looks a little unleveled if I look at the horozontal light/balcony under the dome.
The clarity and color are striking. Well done.   Posted: 10/15/2026 14:43:09

Becca is right on. This is shot with the camera tipped up at perhaps 45 degrees and there is a lot of distortion. I straightened it using the only horizontal line I could find down near the bottom. I should of used an implied verticle line down the middle of the picture. Using the transform function in Lightroom Development module with a verticle line down the middle and a horizontal line near the botoom fixes it. Lesson learned, thanks Becca   Posted: 10/20/2026 01:57:00

The photo beautifully captures the intricate details and stunning artwork. Its bright golden tones make it really stand out, while the arches and graceful curves gently draw your eye toward the center.   Posted: 10/16/2026 20:30:34

What an incredible ceiling. I like the way you have composed the picture allowing us to take in all the colour and detail.   Posted: 10/18/2026 10:00:45
