About the Image(s)
Again a title from our last trip to Liege, Belgium this August. I found this view of buildings and the busy street very interesting - it was my plan to convert this to monochrome when I took this picture. I have developed the raw file into a coloured picture (this is the base jpg ooc) and then converted it to black and white - no more steps done.

Hi Peter: A very interesting street scene, there is a lot to study in this scene, my eye keeps returning to the two men at the lower left.
A good point of interest is the building to the left in the distance, it has much the same architectural design as the large building that is the center of interest.
On my monitor the clouds in the sky have taken on a creative look.
This street scene converted to monochrome very well, and your composition is very well balanced.   Posted: 10/13/2026 16:25:28

Peter,
I really like this composition. THe alley way on the right is nicely placed and the diagonal of the street works well. There is some strange pixelation in the sky which I assume you didn't intend.   Posted: 10/14/2026 16:24:27

Hi Peter: You captured some really interesting architecture in that image. I think it is composed nicely, and the buildings are straight. I think a little more contrast may improve the image, but that is just a personal viewpoint. I like the way the main building looks like it is an extension of the one behind it; almost a train effect. It looks like there may have been a lot to shoot down that alley, also.
